September 2010: Important Information
Everyone's membership of Bigfoot CC expires on 30th September 2010. Membership is now being offered until the end of March 2012, and annually thereafter. If you are cycling with us, then you must become a member in order to ensure we comply with the Club's insurance. A condition of membership is that have 3rd party insurance from a cycling body such as the CTC, LCC or British Cycling. We can arrange affiliated CTC membership for you if you do not have your own insurance. This offers a basic level of cover for some claims. For regular riders upgrading to your own full membership is recommended.
How do I renew/join?
Please fill in a form. We have a technical issue on our website which means for now you will need to cut and paste the form below into a blank document to print or an email. There are also copies available at Bigfoot Bikes.
You can submit it by email to membership@bigfootcc.co.uk and pay by online banking to the Bigfoot Cycle Club account, number 80317004, sort code 20-05-57. Please cut and paste details of the bank transaction details into your e-mail.
Or you can attach the appropriate fee shown on the form and drop it into the shop or send it to Bigfoot Cycle Club, c/o Bigfoot Bikes, 50 Hayes Street, Hayes, Kent BR2 7LD. The shop cannot accept cash for Club membership so please pay by cheque, payable to 'Bigfoot Bike Club'. Please complete this form for renewing because it will help us keep accurate records.

New members will need to get their application counter-signed by a club member so will need to leave a paper copy at the shop. Payment can be by bank transfer. Please cut and paste details of the bank transaction details into your e-mail. If doing a paper application, please put payment in a sealed envelope with your form and leave at Bigfoot Bike Shop.

Why join?
Not only is riding with other people sociable, but you'll discover new routes, go further and faster, and get tips on riding and bikes. You'll be more motivated to ride - even throughout the winter months - and get more exercise. You'll also benefit from insurance cover and be able to tap into CTC and British Cycling resources.
Membership benfits
 Bigfoot Cycle Club members enjoy a discount on accessories at Bigfoot Bikes bike shop in Hayes. You also get peace of mind because membership fees pay for the club's Organiser's Liability Insurance and third party insurance for individual members (which covers you whenever you're riding, not just out with the club). We also have our own club kit. From time to time we have special offers and competitions.
What is membership money used for?
Our main expense is the running of this website and affilaition to cycling organisations. In future, we hope to use surplus funds to stage cycling events.
