Unless otherwise stated in the list of rides, all rides start from Bigfoot Bikes in Hayes, near Bromley in Kent or outside the village hall across the road. If the start point is different someone can usually provide a lift, especially if we are taking the Bigfoot people carrier, so just leave a message in the forum.

Getting To Bigfoot By Bike
If you want to come to us by bike, check out your OS map No 177 and head for grid ref 405663 or check out Multimap.


Getting To Bigfoot By Train
If you want to brave public transport we are easy to get to from either Hayes, East Croydon or Bromley South mainline train stations:

From Hayes station we are about 3 minute ride, turn right out of the station, left at the end of the road, left at the end of that road (The Ridgeway) into West Common Road and then left at the end of that road into Baston Road. Over the roundabout and we are down on the left opposite the Church.


Getting To Bigfoot By Car

SAT NAV. USE POSTCODE BR2 7LD

Directions from the South/M25
  • Junction 6 A22/ A25 "Westerham, Godstone, Eastbourne, Caterham"
  • Head North A22 towards "Caterham, Croydon"
  • After 1 mile go straight over traffic lights
  • After 1 mile at roundabout take the FOURTH exit (tiny little road with 30mph sign) (SUCCOMBS HILL)
  • At top of hill/ end of road turn right into "Westhall Road"
  • At end of road follow one way system and bear left B269 towards "Croydon"
  • Follow this for 2 miles
  • At roundabout turn right (3rd exit) A2022 "Croydon, Addiscombe"
  • After ¾ mile go straight over traffic lights
  • At roundabout by garage go straight over (2nd exit) A2022 "Hayes, West Wickham"
  • After 300yds at large roundabout go straight over (2nd exit) A2022 "Hayes"
  • After 1½ miles at mini roundabout go straight over (2nd exit)
  • After 300yds at roundabout (junction with A232) go straight over B251 "Hayes"
  • Follow road (1 mile) to end - turn left
  • Follow road (200yds) to end - turn left
  • At mini roundabout go straight over (2nd exit)
  • Shop is 200yds on left-hand side opposite the Church

Directions from Croydon
  • From Fairfield Halls roundabout follow A232 out of town past Law Courts "West Wickham"
  • Straight over roundabout following signs for West Wickham A232
  • At major roundabout turn right
  • Along dual carriageway and left at next roundabout
  • Follow road through Shirley and continue to West Wickham
  • At roundabout take 3rd exit "West Wickham"
  • Go through West Wickham and continue on main road down hill
  • At roundabout turn left to HAYES
  • Follow road (1 mile) to end - turn left
  • Follow road (200yds) to end - turn left
  • At mini roundabout go straight over (2nd exit)
  • Shop is 200yds on left-hand side opposite the Church

Directions from the East/A21
  • M25 Junction 4 (A21 Bromley)
  • Follow A21 for a few miles towards Bromley
  • Turn LEFT A232 Croydon (by Chapter One Restaurant)
  • Straight on through first set of traffic lights (petrol station on left)
  • Turn RIGHT at second set of lights (Baston Road)
  • Follow road to mini roundabout (car showroom on left)
  • Straight over roundabout
  • BIGFOOT BIKES is 200yds on left-hand opposite the Church
